Life after local news ain’t so bad after all, especially when you get to play someone you’re not on stage with top-notch actors and musicians. This past weekend I joined the “A Ride With Bob” cast. The shows took place at the Grand Opera Theatre in Galveston,TX.
Honestly, I wasn’t too nervous thanks to the support of the 25 cast members and coaching from Marco Perella who welcomed me with open arms.
I got to play a flapper in a Bonnie and Clyde scene, a hoochie coochie girl in a medicine show, a backup country singer, a 1930s mother, and a Hollywood Director’s asst. plus some other bit parts.
