Here’s a recent article featured in the front page of the El Paso Times right before my musical debut with “A Ride With Bob.” As you will see they, just didn’t want to focus on the musical but also my latest career changes since I’ve the El Paso airwaves in 2003. For more than a decade I’ve been the one asking the questions, so needless to say it’s always strange for me to be on the “other side.” But it always provides me better understanding and great perspective on what it’s like to be in the hot seat! And to see what information the writer decides to use or string together. Even though there were some factual errors in the report, I’m always flattered and honored to be considered “newsworthy” especially in my beloved hometown of El Paso.
I just wanted to say that I love your wrtniig. I admire the imagery and honesty in what you write and it is something that I aspire to do in my own wrtniig. I just find it comforting that I can read such an honest take on a day to day life and still feel like I am reading a novel or fictional narrative. Thank you for making me think about my own life when I read about yours. Never ever stop wrtniig, else I shall have one less comforting element to appreciate.Teresa
